United Colors of Benetton Launches New Fragrance Line

I love collecting different kinds of stuff. From bags, hats, eyewear, jackets, fragrances to hotel toiletries (yes!) – I collect them all. Fragrances, in particular, are my favorites. Even if the bottle is all dried up inside, I still keep them because I want to be reminded of the scents I wore at certain points in my life.

Whenever I’m in public and get a whiff of a scent I used to wear, I’m always reminded of the emotions I had while I used to wear that particular scent.  Even if I have lots of different bottles of colognes and perfumes, I would always have one “scent of the moment”, which I would wear as much as I could. Most times though, I would wear a different scent everyday, just so people around me won’t get sick of smelling the same scent.

United Colors of Benetton recently launched their newest line of fragrances – Colori 2010. This new line of fragrances is a collection of four perfumes representing an homage to Benetton’s history and presence, inspired by the iconic colors and the wool stitch – timeless elements of the brand. The names of the perfumes are in Italian, a tribute to the origins of United Colors of Benetton – Rosso (Red), Giallo (Yellow), Verde (Green) and Blu

Benetton

Rosso

Sexy, lively and warm.  This scent explodes upon the senses in a cocktail of lush, juicy fruit notes of mandarin, citron and passion fruit.

Benetton Giallo

This scent, while labeled for women, seems to me like it is a unisex one. It’s sparkling, vibrant and radiant. I actually loved this scent as it exudes optimism, happiness and energy. It has vibrant notes of water fruit, red fruit and anis, refreshed by a crisp hint of spearmint.

Benetteon Verde

My current “scent of the moment” is Benetton Verde.  I’m loving the energetic, natural and strong feel of Benetton Verde (Men). Benetton Verde is a contemporary classic resonating with the vibrant, virile note of cedarwood.

Benetton Blu

The other scent for men from this collection is fresh, airy and infinite. Benetton Blu’s top notes combine a sparkle of lemon with an innovative cool air harmony to liberate the senses, while lavender evokes peace and tranquility. (Model not included in the package)
