Whenever I hear the word Boracay, only two things come to mind: beautiful beach and partying! I have been to Boracay so many times that lately, all I could think of whenever someone says Boracay is the partying. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the fine white sand and the crystal clear waters that the island has to offer. I knew that aside from the very lively party scene at night, there were other things that one can do while in Boracay.

If you want to get away from it all, from the hustle and bustle of the metro, White Beach in Boracay is definitely not the place to do it. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy some peace and quiet and “me” time while you’re on the island. You can still get away from it all, thanks to this relatively new place called Alta Vista de Boracay.

Alta Vista de Boracay opens its doors to a whole new Boracay experience. Located

In August of last year, I was in the market for a new personal computing device – owing to the fact that my 4-year old Asus laptop started conking out on me. My budget was only about P25,000 and the only thing that money could buy me was a netbook. I scoured through TipidPc and Sulit as well as the websites of different electronics stores. I did an online canvassing of netbooks then compared their prices and specifications.
But something inside me was telling me that an online search like that was just not enough.
And so I did what any self-respecting consumer would do: I went to Park Square 1 to check out netbooks from the different stores there. Seeing and getting to hold the actual product is a completely different experience from searching online. I went to each and every electronics store in Park Square, armed with a pen and a piece of paper. I was already bent on buying an HP Mini but I convinced myself to check out other brands as well. I went from one store to another, then back to this particular store. Then back to another, then back yet again to that store. That store was

Our third day in Amazing Thailand was, I believe, the longest ever. And it was the most awesome too!
We checked out of the Rembrandt Hotel and Towers at around 7:30 AM and headed to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Our flight from Bangkok to Krabi, one of Thailand’s southern provinces, was scheduled at 10:40 AM so we had to be at the airport before 9:00 AM. We arrived at the airport earlier than expected so we had about an hour and a half to spare. I love Suvarnabhumi!

I have not bought shoes in a while. Buying shoes has become less of a priority for me recently since I realized that I still have enough shoes that I can wear to work and to the occasional weekend night-outs. Last Valentine’s Day, I had brunch with my fab hag Ish and I saw some pretty nice shoes over at Trilogy. The shoes were so nice, but I couldn’t afford them so I just shrugged the idea off my poor shoulder. After the yummoh brunch at Canteen, we headed to Greenbelt to do some window shopping. We both ended up buying stuff we didn’t really need.

I didn’t plan on buying anything for myself that day, but when I saw these denim-y shoes from Zara Man, I knew I’ve found my match!
